    • Obituary:
      The death of Nelson Eston Michaud, of Knowlesville, occurred peacefully at home on April 19, 2020. Born on May 11, 1951 in Grand Falls, NB, he was the son of the late Antoine and Antoinette (Rossignol) Michaud. he was also predeceased by his 3 brothers, Robert, Pete and Jerry.
      Nelson loved having a good time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a strong and proud man who always put others first and made sure that his family was taken care of. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
      Nelson is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Laureen; 2 children, Troy Michaud and Lisa Michaud; 5 grandchildren, Miranda, Lynette, Matthew, Kayla and Leighton; 4 siblings, Suzanne Madore, Antoine Michaud (Debbie), Ann Marie Cote (Morelle) and Stanley Castonguay; long time friend, whom they exchanged stories with lots of laughter, Paul Madore (Pauline) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
      There will be no visitation. A family graveside service will be held at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery, Esdraelon. For those who wish memorial donations may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation. L.R.
