Gerald Lloyd Manuel of Knowlesville departed this life at Riverview Manor in Bath, N B.He was born on a farm in Knowlesville and spent almost his entire life on a farm in Knowlesville. He married Doris Hawkes in 1943 and together they farmed until he had a stroke.He was cared for at home for a few years and then went to Riverview Manor.As well as farming,he also hired out with his truck. There were three brothers and five sisters in his family. Garnet (Eleanor Castigan), Hilton (Kay) (1917-1985) and Gerald and Marjorie (Fon) Mean,(1922-1947),Sydney (Gerald)Derrah, Maureen (Richard)Smith, Alice(William)Burnham, and Roma(James)Hatheway. He was admired for his fine Belgian horses.
