  Obituary: The death of Wayne "Buck" Clarence Quinn of Wicklow occurred on Monday, January 30th, 2023 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville NB surrounded by his family. Buck was born on February 11th, 1947 in Glassville and was the son of the late Alexander "Sandy" and Gertrude (Anderson) Quinn. He was also predeceased by his step son, Christopher Whitehouse; 8 sisters, Olive, Jennie, Nellie, Ernestine, Jeannie, Marion, Darlene "Bunny" and Kaye; 4 brothers, John, Lloyd, Peter and Larry "Dick". He dedicated 36 years of his life to McCain Foods which involved planning parties, plowing and yard maintenance. He had a passion for the Toronto Maple Leafs, loved to play cards and was always up for a hunting trip to the camp. Near and dear to his heart was his chihuahua, Princess. Special thank you to everyone who cared for Buck during his illness. Buck is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Ida; 2 stepchildren, Carla Carlisle (Peter) and Calvin Whitehouse (Shelly); daughter in law, Laurie Whitehouse; 7 grandchildren, Cole Carlisle (Brandi DeMerchant), Luke Carlisle (Rebecca Comeau), Brooke Carlisle, Taylor Whitehouse (Julian Hawthorne), Christie Fullarton (Josh), Ty Whitehouse (Maddie Lawrence) and Brittany Lunn (Alonzo Millard); 1 brother, Allison Quinn (Claudia); 4 great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville - Bristol on Friday, February 3rd, 2023 from 4-7 pm. A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Glassville United Cemetery.
