  • Notes
    • Alexander McDonald's first wife, Mary, died in 1885. The second wife,
the former Helen Munro, died in 1894. She was living with the McDonald family
in 1881. When or why she came to New Brunswick is something of a mystery at
this late date. She was a native of Tain, in the Highlands.
